As Southern Sun Ikoyi looks to celebrating its one decade in Nigeria hospitality market, with series of activities line up, staff that have dedicated their lives to the success story of the outfit, will be first to be honoured and celebrated in the build to the anniversary billed for later in the year.

On June Wednesday June 19, this set of personnel will according to the hotel management, be honoured for their loyalty at a colourful ceremony scheduled at the hotel. The award ceremony, the hotel said is an ideal medium that recognises and appreciates the efforts of its committed and dedicated staff members as a whole and most especially, those who have spent the past decade, delivering exceptional world class service within the hotel, which has placed Southern Sun Ikoyi as idyllic destination for business and pleasure seekers within the city’s landscape.

According to the Sales and Marketing Manager of the hotel, Ubong Nseobot, “the overall top quality service to guests which the hotel is famed for is a testament to the commitment and collaborative efforts of Southern Sun Ikoyi staff members in ensuring that every experience at the hotel gives guest the nostalgic feeling for a repeated visit and beyond that become ambassadors and partners of the brand.”

State stated that the roles of staff members, especially those to be honoured on the day, who have spent the past decade through dedicated and committed service to ensuring that Southern Sun Ikoyi has grown to become the benchmark for industry standard in exceptional delivery of service to guests, are quite appreciated by the hotel management.

According to her, the hotel management believes strongly in investing in capacity building as it has over the years ensured the training and retraining of its staff members: “the hotel is one which has focused on improving its staff through trainings within and outside the shores of the country to better improve them as individuals and representatives of the brand.”
