Africa: Ghanaian Security Operatives Rescues Two Abducted Canadians
Ghanaian security operatives have rescued two Canadians women abducted in the Ashanti region of the country.
According to a statement from the country’s Ministry of Information, signed by the Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, details of the operation and ongoing efforts are on to ensure that similar incidents are successfully resolved.
He said: “Government continues to encourage the media and commentators to be circumspect in public commentary on security matters in order not to compromise other related operations. Citizens and travellers are once again assured that Ghana remains safe.”
