Africa: Alex Nwuba is President of Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association AOPA Nigeria as it joins global body
The Board of the International Council of Aircraft Owner and Pilot Associations (IAOPA) has approved full membership for AOPA North Macedonia and AOPA Nigeria. The two additional IAOPA Affiliates brings the total number of member countries to 81.
AOPA North Macedonia is headquartered in Chucher Sandevo, Republic of North Macedonia and is already 100 members strong. Mr. Predrag Chemerikikj was elected as the first President of the new organization.
AOPA Nigeria is located in Lagos, Nigeria and is currently led by iMr. Alex Nwuba who is the first President and has had a distinguished career as an aviation pioneer in Africa.
AOPA Nigeria will be chaired by Air Vice Marshall Riku Morgan who is also the Chairman of the West African flying Club. Other board members are Captain Dele Ore, Captain Ibrahim Mshelia and Ambassador Bolos Zum Lolo.
AOPA Nigeria will soon begin the process of recruiting members.
