Nigerian opens online grocery for Africans in U.S.

An online grocery for Nigerians, Ghanaians and Camerounians to procure traditional food items, www.jalebasket.com, has been launched by a Nigerian, Mrs. Olaitan Bello, in the United States.

According to the publicist, Mrs. Linda Dominguez in a chat with at the weekend in Lagos, the Wisconsin-based outfit offers affordable and real-time services to the Diaspora Africans on a daily, two or three-day basis depending on clients’ choice.

She noted that the initiative saves customers the stress of going to the terrestrial groceries sparsely sited within the U.S. whose items are quite costly.

Dominguez added that the founder also offers daily recipe tips on delicious African dishes through her Instagram page, @ jalebasket.

She pointed out that the mum-preneur enterprise was borne out of the zeal to make available to Nigerians and their African folks quality traditional delicacies at a minimal price.
Dominguez added: “The mission is to provide quick, easy and faster grocery services to Nigerians all over the United State.”

On what informed the concept, she said the owner thought of what the African woman needs and makes her get it seamlessly, adding: “It is like a mum helping another mum to make a delicious meal. It is straight from Nigeria to your home.”
