We would like to highlight with emphasis on Destination Zambia’s rich cultural products. Its culture is diverse and vibrant. With 72 different tribes living in harmony, the destination boasts of over 50 traditional ceremonies annually.
Notable among these are Kulamba of the Chewa speaking people and Likumbi Lya Mize of the Luvale speaking people, both recognised by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) as intangible heritage of humanity to be preserved and enjoyed by all citizens of the world.
The Kulamba and the Likumbi lya Mize are among the most captivating traditional ceremonies anyone can see in Africa, the ceremonies will captivate each visitor and leave a life time impact.
