Africa: Tanzania socialite summoned by government following leaked sex tape
Dar Es Salaam’s Regional Commissioner RC Paul Makonda has asked controversial video vixen and socialite Amber Rutty to present herself to the nearest police station as she waits for Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA) to take action against her.
As reported by a cross section of the East African media earlier, Rutty found herself in trouble following the leak of her sex tape.
In the video, Amber is seen having relations with two men whose identities are still a mystery.
The x-rated video angered thousands of Tanzanians who called on their government to take action against her since she had embarrassed the whole nation owing to her celebrity status. Well, their plea was heard and dealt with by RC Makonda who urged the socialite to present herself to police within 12 hours.
‘As TCRA prepares itself to take action, I want the owner of this photo to present herself to any police station before 12 hours elapses. Tell them RC Makonda has sent you and they will give you your message.” Makonda wrote on Instagram. Rutty’s tribulation came barely hours after Tanzanian government banned actress Wema Sepetu from acting after a video of her kissing with new lover leaked online.
The government cracked the whip on her despite her efforts to apologise to everyone including her fans in a press conference held on Thursday, October 25. It should be noted the government had also promised to take action against yet another socialite known as Sanchoka following complaints from the public over her raunchy photos on Instagram.
