A new travel agency called WaheGuru Travel and Tourism has been recently launched in The Gambia; specialising in international and domestic air tickets, worldwide hotel bookings, international and local transfers, tailor-made packages, visa assistance and meet and greet service.

Speaking to journalists at a press conference at the agency’s new branch at Kairaba Avenue, their Banjul branch manager Deny Dhruv Bhatia said the company is operating in over 22 countries in Africa and sold all air ticket types across the world.

“We sell tickets for Brussels airlines, Air Morocco and other airlines to destinations across the world.”

He said they decided to establish their service in The Gambia because they believe that the country is peaceful and operating here will give them good services and avail them the opportunity to widen their operations on the continent.

According to him, the company was established in 2010 in Cotonou, Benin with determination to give large part of its jobs to Gambians.

Since inception, Waheguru Travels and Tourism has been venturing into new geographic arenas and making utmost effort to make the best deal available to its clients.
