Africa: Nigeria to re-introduce TSA in tourism-NANTA


NANTA 41st AGM held at the Sheraton Hotels, Mobolaji Bank Anthony way, Ikeja with a theme of “Tourism in a Recessed Economy: the Way Forward”.

The annual meeting was well attending by several of the agents members, members of the board of trustees and VIPs. Awards were given and top among that being the NANTA Life Time Achievement Award given to Chief Akintunde Akala.

Alhaji Lai Mohammed opened the event with his keynote address as he revealed that this administration is determined to revitalize the Tourism Satellite Account (TSA) as a means to properly capture the total contribution of tourism to the country’s economic growth among other things.

Alhaji Lai Mohammed was ably represented by  Mr. Paul Adalikwu, acting Director General, Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC).
